Add a watermark to a PDF — FAQ

How do I add a watermark to a PDF?

Upload the PDF, build a text or image watermark, and adjust its position, opacity and rotation while you watch the live preview. Choose which pages to stamp, then click Apply & download.

Can I use an image or logo instead of text?

Yes. Switch to Image mode to drop in a logo or picture as the watermark. Either way you can set the position, opacity and rotation.

Does it stamp every page?

You decide. The watermark goes onto the pages you select, so you can mark the whole document or just specific pages.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The watermark is applied right in your browser — your PDF never leaves your device and nothing is sent to a server.

Is there a file size limit?

There's no fixed cap. Since everything runs locally, very large PDFs are limited only by your device's memory — on most machines that's plenty.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It's free and there's no sign-up. Just open the page, add your PDF, and download the watermarked file.

Don't take our word for it — verify it

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file never leaves your device — it isn't uploaded to any server.

Check for yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12, or right-click → Inspect) → the Network tab → then run this tool. You won't see your file uploaded anywhere, because the work happens locally on your device.
